
Eugenio Vargas
Eugenio Vargas is a senior at Northwestern University majoring in Theatre with a Certificate of Concentration in Musical Theatre and a minor in Music Theory and Conducting. Originally from Oak Ridge, Tennessee, he has spent the last three busy years making his mark at Northwestern. Outside of theatre, he has been extremely active in several different areas on campus. For three years, Eugenio participated in the organization and planning of the Northwestern University Model United Nations Conference for Secondary Schools, serving this past year as Secretary Parliamentarian on the Executive Secretariat for the conference. He has also served as a Peer Coordinator for Wildcat Welcome for two years, overseeing new student orientation in the fall. He worked at the office of admissions as a tour guide, and this past year was promoted to the position of Coordinator of Guides at Northwestern. In terms of his involvement within the theatre department, Eugenio has served for two years on the Executive Board for the annual Waa-Mu Show (this coming year, he will be serving as Co-Chair for the board), has musical directed four productions in three years (most recently, Tonight at Eight, a Sheldon Harnick Review), and performed in numerous productions, both student and faculty produced. In addition to participating in these full productions, he has travelled to 3 different states as a representative of the theatre department to perform at Northwestern Donor and Alumni events.
